Fate of the Venue:

The Savoy closed in the Spring of 1982.  Returning to its original name (the Hudson Theatre), the site was granted landmark status in 1987.  The Hudson Theatre was renovated and incorporated into an adjoining hotel development in the early 1990s.

Fate of the Venue:  The Fox Theater was renovated and re-opened as the Alberta Bair Theater in 1987.  The venue continues to host concerts and other performances.

Fate of the Venue:  The Capitol Theatre closed in the mid-1980s (late 1985 or 1986, according to different sources).  The building was torn down in 1991.  A shopping mall and parking lot currently occupy the site.
