Concert Reaction:

The Destroyers’ 50-50 concert at the Vogue Theater was positively reviewed by the Indianapolis Star:

“The band was incredibly lively and kept the dance floor so packed the folks could barely move…  Thorogood, touted by his management agency as ‘the new Springsteen’ is an excellent performer.  Though the tag doesn’t fit his style, his onstage dynamism and style may indeed bring him the Springsteen like fame he seems to be aiming for.  If he and his band can make it through the entire 50 day/50 state tour while maintaining this level of excitement, he’ll deserve every bit of praise offered him”.

Fate of the Venue:  The Vogue Theater remains a concert venue to this day.
